Cheryl Hines

Cheryl Ruth Hines is a Florida native who was born the 21st of September, 1965 in Miami Beach to Rosemary (Graham), whose parents were James Hines and Rosemary (Graham). The family lived in Tallahassee. She attended West Virginia University, Florida State University as well as graduated at the University of Central Florida. While studying theatre and television production in Los Angeles, she realized that the art of comedy was something she actually knew about only when she had studied at the university. Lisa Kudrow was her first instructor. The actress began learning to come up with ideas and sketch comical sketches. The experience has helped her prepare for her role as Larry David's wife on the HBO show Curb Your Enthusiasm (2000). She feels at ease because the dialog in this comedy is all improvised.
