Tessa Thompson

Tessa Lynn Thompson is an American actress, born October 3rd, 1983 in Los Angeles. She is the daughter Marc Anthony Thompson (a singer/songwriter) as well as the grandchild of Bobby Ramos, an actor/musician. The majority of her childhood was spent living in Los Angeles, before she was moved to Brooklyn. Her mother has Mexican as well as British Isles family heritage, whereas her father is an Afro-Panamanian. Thompson was involved in numerous productions at Santa Monica High School. Following graduation, she was enrolled at Santa Monica College, where she received a bachelor's master's degree in cultural anthropology. The role she played was Juliet in Shakespeare's play "Romeo and Juliet" during a performance that was staged at the Boston Court Theatre in Pasadena, California.
