Yael stone, who is a New York City based Australian resident, played Lorna the character of Morello Orange Is the New Black in 2013. Yael holds a master's degree from NIDA. Yael despite her youthful age, has had the chance to study with Australia's most renowned storytellers. Yael has a successful career with a thriving career in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael relocated from Australia to New York City after the Brooklyn Academy of the Music's production of the show was an enormous achievement. Yael is co-founder of The Cannery. The Cannery is located within Bushwick Brooklyn and operates out of Brooklyn to encourage creative writing, innovative ideas and new work.
