Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is a Canadian actress most commonly known for her role as Bo from the Showcase TV show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay is the producer and director of the drama of drama and production at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. The father of Silk, Peter, was an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers some of the earliest moments of her existence, such as taking part in rehearsals of plays. Silk was featured in a variety of commercials when she was a young child. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Arts at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least 2 early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk was moved to Toronto Canada in the fall of 1999, to keep acting. After that, she relocated to Los Angeles California during the next decade. Seth Cooperman is her future husband, who she first discovered at the time of her meeting in Los Angeles at an Actors Workshop. The couple was engaged in 2009 before getting married in an unofficial ceremony in December. They were married in Fredericton on April 10, 2011, they renewed vows after her conversion to Judaism. Silk had a child named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born child on the 13th of May 2016. Silk's TV work is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica in which she was awarded a Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009 Silk was a part of the main character Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant while shooting the final season of the third season. She announced the pregnancy to the fans in the Showcase Season Three pre-show special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk revealed via Twitter, on 20 June 2013, that the production was set to begin on Season 4. On 4 June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed that production had begun for the Fourth season. CNN Cable News Network named Bo as well as Lauren Zoie Palmer as the couples with identical sexuality on Lost Girl to be one of the top television Couples ever. E! Magazine declared the couple as one of the Top TV Couples of 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk's growth has brought an enormous online following on social media.
